How many people will be in the group tours?
Because of our particular philosophy and the special attention which we wish to give to our clients, none of LivItaly Group Tours exceed 15 people. We believe that the best way for our group tour to be well organized, responsive to each clients' needs, enjoyable and entertaining, is to keep the groups small.
If you are interested in an even more personalized trip - with all of its obvious advantages - you can, for a slightly higher fee, reserve one of our Elite Private Tours.

I don't feel comfortable making on-line reservations. Is there someone I can call directly?
Of course! We are available via skype (free!) or by telephone. Please feel free to contact us at any time, day or night. You can find our contact information in the "Contacts" page.

When will I know all of the details regarding the tour I am interested in reserving?
Once you have sent us the completed reservation form (or called one of our representatives), you will receive an e-mail confirmation of your reservation (date, time, total cost and method of payment). Shortly thereafter, we will send you all of the details and instructions on how and when to arrive at the meeting point designated for your tour.

What does privileged entrance at the Vatican Museum mean?
Entrance for the general public to the Vatican Museum is usually preceded by long lines which snake alongside the walls of the Vatican city - many times (especially in the high tourist season or on weekends) making a 1-3 hour wait not uncommon. LivItaly Tours has been granted privileged entrance rights to the Vatican Museums. This means that we have daily, specially reserved VIP slots so that our clients can avoid the long queues.

What about the Colosseum? I've heard that there are long queues there also.
Yes, many times there are. Our tour guides however will accompany you to another, secondary entrance where you will be able to purchase tickets which are valid for both the Colosseum and the Roman Forum without having to stand in long queues.

Can we request a different time from the ones offered?
If your party is made up of more than 6 people, we will be more than happy to accommodate your specific time requests.

We are travelling with our young children. How does this work?
For LivItaly itineraries within the city of Rome, our tours are free for kids under the age of 14. Children on these tours will only need to pay the entrance fees to the monuments and museums scheduled on the tour. Ticket prices for children vary from one museum/monument to another so when you contact us, we will be able to give you the specific costs per child for each of the museums and/or monuments on your tour.
Whereas, for our itineraries which take us out of the city of Rome (day trips and over-night stays), kids under the age of 14 pay a special reduced fee which differs depending on the trip. Again, these specific prices will be communicated to you upon your request.

Can you help me make arrangements to get to and from the airport?

What kind of hotel accommodations can I expect on LivItaly's overnight tours?
LivItaly deals exclusively with the finest, most comfortable accommodation suppliers; whether a charming country farm transformed into a lovely Bed and Breakfast or a small, atmospheric hotel in the historic center of town, the memories you will take home of your Italian experience will be unique. LiveItaly Tours does not offer the "common" tour but, of course, clean, comfortable accommodations in a warm and friendly atmosphere are our priorities.
