We will be centering our visit at the Locanda della Quercia Calante, originally a country farm now restored and renovated into a charming, family run residence in the heart of the fertile Umbria countryside.

After a rejuvenating yoga class (for those who wish) and a brief introduction to the history of the local land by our host, we will take a walking tour of the beautifully preserved medieval town of Orvieto, situated high on the butte of a volcanic tuff. We will then return to our farm to enjoy a home-grown, handmade, slow-food lunch accompanied by the special wines of the area.
The next day will start with a healthy, fresh foods breakfast, time to enjoy the lovely pools and spa and then a visit with lunch at Civita di Bagnoregio: a fascinating hill town which boasts just 15 inhabitants and is reachable only by crossing a long picturesque foot bridge.
